#1 HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL FAN!

My little Rachel just loves, completely adores, is head over heals in LOVE w/ High School Musical and everything about it, as is now evidenced by her new bedspread, sheets and I {heart} Troy pillow. Over the weekend, I saw these in the K-Mart ad and when I showed to Rach she went bananas. So today while she was at school, I ran to K-Mart and got them for her. She actually paid for 1/2. With all the High School Musicals posters on her wall (and there's not too much wall space left), why not on her bed too? It looks really cute and as you can see by the HUGE smile on her face, she was thrilled.

WEEKEND SOCCER PHOTOS

It was a busy weekend w/ 4 soccer games! Lindsey played at home on Saturday morning; no good photos though as I was only there for 1/2 the game. Allie played Sat. afternoon in Barrington (in between her school musical practice). Sunday morning we left the house too early for Allie's soccer game in Northbrook at 9am! And Rachel's team played their first home game. Sad to say, no one was victorious although Allie's Sat. game and Rachel's team both tied. We'll see what this week brings. Have to say that I'm loving my "BIG" zoom lenses to capture those awesome photos of my beautiful girls!

Love these shots of Allie as goalie!
Rachel has some great stops playing defense! Go Arsenal!!!

SO PROUD

So proud of all my girls but especially Lindsey today because she made BOTH football and basketball cheerleading for the 2007-2008 school year. She was very nervous (and she didn't know but so was I) because 21 girls were trying out for a 12-person squad. She was SO happy that she made it and needless-to-say, we were SO PROUD of her!

DC SOCCER V SHS

Awesome soccer game out in the boonies! Game ended in a 0-0 tie but the girls played great. Lindsey played the entire game and did a wonderful job. She got "cleated" and has a bruised leg and will have to recover for tomorrow's night home game v. MHS.

EASTER WEEKEND W/ FAMILY

Had a great Easter weekend!

Our nephew came over on Good Friday and spent the day w/ us. We had fun at the local bowling alley for 3 hours and then came home and dyed eggs. Saturday the girls headed to the ball park w/ their grandparents and were thankful they were inside a warm skybox. Sunday was Easter which meant waking up early (7am) to hunt for the baskets, church at 10am, home to get dinner ready, and our guest arriving at 1pm. We had a yummy ham dinner then watched "The Pursuit of Happyness" in our cozy basement. It was a fun-filled weekend and boy did I ever sleep well Sunday night!
