3 SOCCER PLAYERS

It's not too often anymore that all 3 girls are home at the same time so on Sunday (soccer game day) when they were all at home and all had their red jerseys on, you know what that meant? A great photo op! Rachel also requested a photo with their numbers showing!

ALLIE IS FOURTEEN - NO WAY!

The pictures are out of order but here is Allie after our Woodfield trip opening some small gifts. She loves the Jonas Brothers right now so I knew she'd enjoy this magazine. Hope you had a great day Allie Bud!

We told Allie that she had to ready to leave Sat. at 9:45am for a surprise birthday trip. She didn't know it but we were taking her to the Apple Store at Woodfield to pick out one of the BRAND NEW IPOD NANOS. We even blindfolded her when we got close to the store so she had NO IDEA where she was going. We undid the blindfold when she was standing in front of the new NANO display. It was so cool! And even though she acted like we were so lame I could tell she was pretty excited. Here is she posing with her new LIME GREEN nano.

Allie chose to eat her b-day lunch at the Rain Forest Cafe at Woodfield (always a favorite with our family). We ordered the VOLCANO dessert which was big enough for all 5 of us. Yummy!

FALL AROUND OUR HOME

I always wait until after Allie's bday to decorate our house for Fall/Halloween. Here's a few shots from around our house. And yes, we have a real live black cat but not just for Halloween; he's here year-around.

BACK TO SCHOOL

Lindsey started her Junior year in High school. She's the first to leave in the morning.

Rachel is a big 5th grade at elementary school and she's the second one to leave in the morning.

Allie is an 8th grader in middle school this year and is last one to catch her bus in the morning.
Here's wishing everyone a great school year - love, mom.

SAD AND HAPPY MEMORIES

Grammie Heron passed away on August 27 so we left a few days afterwards for Pittsburgh. While it was certainly nice to see all the family, it's really hard to think that Grammie is gone. She always held a special place in my heart and will be missed by all who loved her. Since the services were on Monday and Tuesday, we went downtown Pittsburgh on Saturday to show the girls where Rick was born and did some touristy things downtown. Here's the girls are at the overlook after we rode up the incline. We also met up with Bob & Jan, and Rob & family at PNC Park for a nights Pirates game.

Family photo taken in the garden outside at our hotel.
